My sassy teacher. Zee teaching Body Movement at ADS. Photos: Vivian Teo
A non-salsa dancing girlfriend of mine whom once saw a photo of him - sharply-dressed with a cheeky grin on his handsome mug at a salsa event – badgered for the picture for her desktop wallpaper. Another, after seeing his photo, remarked, “He’s so my type,” to which a third female retorted, “I think he is many women’s type.”
“[Stunned silence] Er…that’s the first time I’m hearing it! Hahaha! I’m very flattered. It’s quite a big compliment. How do I feel about it…I don't know really!” And the male protagonist’s reaction to the true stories above trails off in nervous laughter. Ah, such is the unassuming charm of Wee Tze Yi aka Zee, arguably one of the most good-looking salsa instructor, or we could quite comfortably say, salsero in Singapore.
