The school says: Open to all levels, this class offers men and women the foundation to execute spins perfectly and consistently. Students will develop a greater awareness of their body and learn the intricacies of spinning, preparation for spins, controlling momentum, and stopping. This workshop is excellent for anyone that wants to improve their technique and balance while spinning and dancing.

We say: Holds true to exactly what the workshop promised. You learn of techniques to perfect your spin which includes the muscles to engage, the correct positioning, the strength and weight to put in and how spotting should be done.

The school says
: Learn essential dance exercises that will help you produce the Afro-Cuban sabor to your Salsa shines.

We say: Don’t expect to learn a series of shines. The class is predominantly about dance exercises where students execute various Afro-Cuban moves demonstrated by Andy. Get ready for lots of body isolations, shoulder rolls, some jumping, a little drama and a good workout from head to toe.
