ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SALSASINGAPORE

Dearest friends

We announce this with much regret: SalsaSingapore.sg will close at the end of January 2010. Due to personal commitments, we are unable to find the time to continue running the website.

From now till the end of January, while the website will continue to exist, only ‘What’s Happening’ will continue operating. If you have any events happening till June 2010 that you would like to list, do let us know and we will be happy to list that for you. After January, we will no longer update on events in What’s Happening. 

It has been a great three years for SalsaSingapore and we have enjoyed bringing you the best of Singapore’s salsa scene. We are grateful for the support given to us by the salsa community in Singapore. Our heartfelt thanks to all the salseros, salseras, salsa dance schools and salsa clubs in Singapore that had made SalsaSingapore the foremost guide for salsa in Singapore. During this time, we have made many friends whom we will continue to treasure.

 Bailamos Sin Limites means “we dance without limits”.  In its third year, Bailamos goes beyond boundaries and breaks the confines of being just another Latin dance party.  Come witness a full Latin fiesta, complete with Latin-inspired games and musicians, as Caderas Latinas redefines the limits of the biggest inter-tertiary Latin dance festival in Singapore. En La Pasion 2010

 The annual En La Pasion Bachata Fiesta is back with even more exciting stuffs this year! This year our event will be running for 3 days with the following highlights!
- Exciting guest performances
- 20 over workshops from local & oversea instructors
- 2 nights of parties and social dancing
- And definitely not to miss, En La Pasion Bachata competition 2010 that will happen on 2 April 2010.

Updates on SISF 2009. Finally the promotional flyers for Singapore International Salsa Festival 2009 happening 13-15 November at Downtown East are up and we are scrutinizing it!

New studio for Jitterbugs. Jitterbugs Swingapore has closed its Millenia Walk studio and will be opening and starting classes at The Cathay #B1-08 on 11 Aug.

Get Ritzy. The biggest salsa-themed cruise event, Salsa Cruise Asia, will have its opening night and party at Singapore's Ritz Carlton on 22 November.
